Years pass by, and we're still chanting for our lands back. Fedayees gave their lives, people still remember the 1915 Armenian Genocide. The turks killed a Million and a Half of our people, and are still denying it. Intending to "clean-out" the whole Armenian race, they've failed, and they'll always fail, as Project Hayastan will show you and every other Armenian it was or any other race who is interested in the topic of freedom.
Hrant Dink, one of our heros, continued his fellow Tashnagtsagans with the "Azadootioon gam Mah" (Freedom or Death). Unfortunately, death was the choice of his two options. He was murdered infront of the whole city in turkey and the killer was announced a hero.
Project Hayastan is made to get every Armenian's attention on Armenians them selves, to REALITY, to turkish terror. Make sure to visit the documentary's site : http://www.projecthayastan.com and get the latest information about it.
Two 17 year old teenagers will try, at least, to get your attention to our culture, our history, and our name, the pride.
"My goal is to get the highschoolers/middleschoolers watch the documentary and learn the facts that go around them without them realizing about any of them." says Ibraham Y. Avedissian. One of the two movie makers.
"Our history will always be ours, but it's not worth having history without knowing about it !" exclaims Aren Soulahian, Ibraham's partner.
* The word "turkey" was uncapitalized purposely, as well as any word relating to it.
